Terms and Conditions for Flynner

By creating an account or using Flynner (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Flynner is a job search workspace for software engineers. The Service helps you organize and track applications on a Kanban-style board, research companies, manage recruiter contacts, and generate AI-assisted cover letters.

Optional features may connect to third-party services such as GitHub to surface repositories relevant to your job search. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Flynner. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Flynner is offered on a subscription basis, billed monthly via our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You can cancel, upgrade, or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then, and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time.
• Prices are listed in USD and may change with reasonable advance notice.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service without our written consent;
• Upload malicious code or use the AI features to generate unlawful or harmful content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms to provide its features, including GitHub (repository sync), Stripe (payments), and AI providers (cover letter generation). Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third party's terms and policies.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services. If a third-party service becomes unavailable, related features of Flynner may be temporarily affected.

Flynner, including its design, branding, and underlying software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal job search.

You retain ownership of the data you enter — applications, notes, contacts, and generated drafts. We do not sell or share your personal job search data with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or successful in any application.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flynner and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including missed job opportunities or application outcomes.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though certain provisions of these Terms (such as intellectual property and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, features, or for legal reasons. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last updated” date, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email.
